Dr. Bret Daniels was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in May 2022. Prior to this, he was appointed as the Institutions Deputy Managing Director in 2019 and Executive Director in 2017.

He has a wealth of experience in the banking industry, spanning the various areas of treasury, commercial, corporate and investment banking. Before joining Esse Capital Finance 2015, he managed the largest business team in the Institutional Banking Group of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Development (IMD), an BSc in Business Administration from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and a High-Class Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Manchester, UK.

He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School (HBS) and the Institute of Management Development (IMD).
